To be the most credible infra forum in Hyderabad, by bringing on board major corporations and partnering with them to collectively take up strategic matters concerning all issues related to infrastructure.

The infrastructure forum is a platform for networking, learning and sharing. It focuses on strategic topics such as Power (including Green Energy), Internet connectivity, Sustainability Practices, Water and Transportation. The forum works closely with Govt for policy evolution and on-the-ground implementation and tries to influence key stakeholders on strategic infrastructure issues faced by IT firms in the areas of – Green energy, Water conservation, Public IT Infrastructure, Smart Infrastructure, Efficient transportation, and Workplace management.

Most of the members of the forum are senior infra and facilities leaders of HYSEA member companies. The forum works with IT firms, government, governing bodies, and other key stakeholders to promote best practices towards building Hyderabad to be a world class IT infrastructure ready city.

Objectives

Collaborate with IT vendors to improve IT infrastructure around IT corridor

Promote sustainability initiatives such to reduce the burden on environment in IT corridor

Partner with government to get better roads, traffic control and road safety planning

Join hands with other associations and entities such as SCSC to improve security, women safety and improved traffic management

Partner with Metro Rail and government for last mile connectivity (to office & to home)

Identify water conversation opportunities around IT parks (Awareness, partnership)

Work with builders to improve awareness to IT employees on saving water

Improve awareness of rainwater harvesting at IT employee homes

Work with concerned minister & governing body to discuss challenges with stable power

Partner with large builder community on power stabilization project

Forum takes up three or four major Infra issues in a year and coordinates with the relevant agencies for its completion/implementation:

  • Quarterly seminar/talks, for the Infra fraternity, for knowledge sharing.
  • Annual Infra Summit
  • Every year in the month of June, HYSEA Infra Summit is conducted.
  • HYSEA recently launched a ‘Reduce Single use Plastic’ campaign for IT Corridor
  • Transportation System
  • Water Conservation
  • Green Energy
