September 19,2025: HYSEA, in partnership with IIIT Hyderabad, hosted the TechForward Research Seminar Series’ September edition focused on “AI for Retail Tech & Customer Experience.” The session featured industry and academic experts who discussed the impact of AI on retail business models, innovation, and customer engagement.
Key speakers included Jacques De Kock, Group Director and Board Member of TFG Limited, who shared industry insights, and Prof. Anirban Dasgupta from the Human Sciences Research Centre (IIITH), who brought research perspectives on technology-driven transformation in consumption patterns and retail demand. The seminar was chaired by Suren Naidoo, Group Chief Information Security Officer at TFG Limited.
This collaborative event enabled dialogue between industry leaders, senior faculty, and technology innovators, highlighting the opportunities and challenges for retail businesses in the AI era.
