It’s been an action packed few months at New Relic India! 

Below are a few of the many highlights that we’d like to share.

Events: New Relic, in partnership with HYSEA, hosted the “Inspiring Inclusion for Women in Tech” event in Hyderabad. This event provided a platform for women in the tech industry to network and featured inspiring speakers who shared their personal career journeys, illustrating how trusting their instincts, embracing challenges, and collaborating with inclusive organizations have been pivotal to their success.

Executive visits: New Relic’s CEO, Ashan Willy, and CTO, Siva Padisetty visited India in May to celebrate the opening of our expanded office space in Hyderabad. Ashan and Siva officially opened the newspace with a ribbon cutting and lighting ceremony, and also met with some of our esteemed customers and partners. 

New Relic Chief Architect and Group Vice President of Engineering, Nic Benders also visited India and delivered a masterclass at T-Hub on Cloud Cost Optimisation and the Role of Observability. Participants gained insights into the world of advanced technology, gaining essential strategies for optimising cloud costs and effectively leveraging observability tools.

Yoga! New Relic celebrated the International Day of Yoga with a 45 minute yoga class led by our Group Vice President of Engineering India, Rohit Ramanand. The class was attended by over 60 Relic at our Hyderabad office, along with many more online as the session was broadcast to employees across the globe. Rohit holds a PHD in yoga, is a certified Ashtanga yoga instructor, and has undergone a transformational journey on the path of yoga and meditation for over 15 years. Social impact on Earth Day – Animal Shelter visit Volunteers visited Blue Cross Hyderabad enjoyed feeding the animals, later they also made bandages to be used for injured/rescued animals. Cheers to wonderful camaraderie and meaningful connections forged during this in-person volunteering activity.
