26 April 2024: New Leadership, Bold Visions, and Exciting Initiatives – The HYSEA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024 was nothing short of transformative. Manisha Saboo presented the highly anticipated Annual Report for FY24, highlighting HYSEA’s groundbreaking work in Policy Advocacy, Talent Transformation, Knowledge Exchange, and ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance). Financial Report and Exciting Highlights

Ramakrishna Lingireddy presented the financial accounts for FY24, revealing some key highlights:

• Zero audit observations.
• Numerous new events were initiated.
• Actively sought and secured sponsorships.
• Notable increase in administrative expenses due to the strengthening of the Secretariat.

The financial report, approved by a resounding voice vote, was proposed by Mr. Ramesh Kaza, International CIO, State Street, and seconded by Uday Peyyeti, Vice President, Pamten. Intrigued? Dive into the financial details.

Auditor Appointment

The AGM gave the green light to continue with JAYANT & SADASHIV Team as auditors for FY25. Partners Mr. Chandra Sekhar Vaddadi, Mr. Jayant Palnitkar, and Mr. Sadashiv Sawrikar will lead the charge. This decision was championed by L. Suresh, CEO, Identis, and seconded by Sairam Vedam, CMO, Cigniti.

New Leadership Takes the Helm

Mr. Prashanth Nandella was elected as the new President of HYSEA for the term 2024-26. In his acceptance speech, Prashanth emphasized the importance of analyzing the impact of AI on the industry and positioning the Hyderabad IT sector as a global leader in both skills and innovation. He highlighted the importance of collaboration with academia, research institutions, startups, industry, and government to drive innovation and create value.
