Panel on “AI Adoption for Enterprise Success”
HYSEA’s Industry Track featured an insightful panel discussion on “AI Adoption for Enterprise Success.” Moderated by Rajesh Dhuddu, Partner – Emerging Tech at PwC, the panel brought together industry leaders Kishore Seshagiri (Broadridge), Arijit Sarker (Google), Sai Gumma (JPMC), and Sangeeta Yanamandra (Opentext) to explore the transformative impact of AI on business operations. Panelists shared practical strategies for integrating AI into enterprises, highlighting best practices for data management, cybersecurity, and maximizing the potential of Generative AI (GenAI). They emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in embedding AI education within academic curricula, laying the foundation for the next generation of AI talent.
MATHack 2.0 Hackathon
In collaboration with Math, Idea Labs, Talent Farm, and Emerging Technologies, HYSEA organized MATHack 2.0—a 36-hour hackathon that attracted over 10,000 registrations. The event fostered a spirit of innovation, with standout projects including “Flatmates” (an AI-driven platform for finding compatible flatmates), “Salubrity Haircare” (nutrition-based solutions for hair growth), and “Mental Health Awareness” (a mental wellness support platform). Winners received a prize fund of ₹1 million, courtesy of Ben Franklin, raised by HYSEA, along with incubation support from MATH. This hackathon showcased the creative potential of AI solutions for real-world challenges, reaffirming HYSEA’s commitment to nurturing tech for good.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TASK
HYSEA furthered its mission to build a future-ready workforce through a significant partnership with TASK (Telangana Academy for Skills & Knowledge). An MoU, exchanged between HYSEA President Prashanth Nandella and TASK CEO Shrikant Sinha, formalized a three-year collaboration to upskill faculty and students in emerging technologies. This partnership will benefit 1,000 faculty members and 10,000 students through programs like Project Drona (faculty upskilling) and Project Nipuna (student readiness). Together, HYSEA and TASK aim to foster a student-centric, application-oriented learning environment, empowering the next generation with skills for the evolving tech landscape.
Mentor Lounge: Empowering Startups with Expert Guidance
HYSEA introduced the Mentor Lounge at the summit, offering a unique platform for AI-driven startups to receive personalized mentorship from industry experts. Designed as a “dating format” mentorship experience, the lounge facilitated one-on-one sessions where startups could pitch their ideas and seek tailored guidance on pitching, funding strategies, go-to-market plans, and more. Over 50 startups registered, with 22 actively participating in extended, meaningful interactions with 29 mentors. Positioned near the product expo and coffee area, the lounge became a hub for networking and innovation, providing startups with invaluable insights to drive their AI journeys forward.
