CDT Supports Girls’ Education Through UDAAN

At Callaway Digital Technologies (CDT), creating meaningful social impact is at the heart of our CSR vision. As part of the CDT Cares program, their corporate social responsibility initiative launched a year ago, the company recently partnered with UDAAN, an NGO dedicated to supporting the education of girls from underprivileged backgrounds, to host its student assessment and selection process at their office.

While CDT had extended monetary support by sponsoring the education of five students last year, this year they wanted to go beyond just money. Thus, at the CDT office on May 9, 2026, UDAAN brought together more than 50 young women who had successfully completed their Class 12 education and were seeking support to pursue higher studies. Accompanied by their parents, the students participated in a preliminary assessment designed to identify candidates for UDAAN’s educational assistance program.

Students who scored above 50% in the assessment progressed to the next stage of the selection process – personal interviews conducted in the presence of their family members. What made the initiative particularly meaningful was the enthusiastic participation of CDT employees, who volunteered their weekend to ensure the event’s success. From invigilating the examination and evaluating answer sheets to serving on the interview panels, employees contributed their time, expertise, and commitment to help identify deserving candidates.

By opening their workplace as a platform for opportunity and encouraging employee volunteerism, CDT demonstrated that corporate citizenship extends beyond financial support. The collaboration reflects their belief that education is one of the most powerful catalysts for social transformation and that collective action can create lasting impact.
