Zelis Fuels Innovation in Healthcare Fintech with CodeStorm Hackathon 2025
The CodeStorm Hackathon, organized by Zelis India brought together 13 teams of developers for an intense three-hour sprint of innovation on March 12, 2025. Focused on tackling real-world challenges in healthcare financials and cloud technologies, participants explored fintech innovations, smart claims processing, patient refunds, currency conversions, and infrastructure automation.
With seven projects submitted, the event showcased remarkable creativity and technical expertise. InsightOps claimed first place with its AI-driven smart claims processing solution, while the IaaC Multi-Cloud Infrastructure team secured second place with an advanced approach to automated infrastructure deployment.
Beyond competition, the hackathon fostered collaboration through mentorship sessions, AI-powered code reviews, and hands-on workshops. The event also highlighted emerging trends like domain-specific AI, multi-modal copilots, and agentic AI, paving the way for future innovations in quality assurance, bug management, and pair programming.
Looking ahead, Zelis is committed to nurturing this momentum through post-hackathon incubation programs, mentorship, and specialized hackathons for Testers, Scrum Masters, and Product Analysts.
