15th October 2024: The HYSEA Green Software Roundtable, in collaboration with our patron member DBS Tech India and KPMG, brought together key leaders from the tech industry to engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the future of green software. Hosted at #DBSTechIndia, this event aimed to explore how sustainable coding practices can be implemented to reduce carbon emissions and drive innovation in the IT industry.
The session kicked off with Namrata Rana, National Head of ESG at KPMG, who set the stage by discussing the vast opportunities and challenges in green software. She emphasized the importance of structural and cultural shifts necessary to successfully integrate green coding into businesses, highlighting how sustainability initiatives can offer competitive advantages.
