Uniting Purpose and People: Showcasing the Power of Employee Volunteering

Infosys Hyderabad’s Mamata team (the CSR arm of Infosys) continues to demonstrate how structured CSR can create sustainable, inclusive, and community-centric impact. Through integrated initiatives across education, healthcare, environment, women empowerment, and community development, the program delivered ₹6.51 crore worth of interventions, benefiting 4,18,000+ people in 2024–2025. This impact was powered by 6,195 employee volunteers, who contributed 24,780+ hours, reflecting a deeply rooted culture of purpose-driven service.

Education & Skilling:
Mamata supported 74 schools and 58,000 students through Springboard and STEM Labs on Wheels, trained 200+ educators, facilitated 30+ industrial visits for 4,877 students, and distributed 800+ digital devices. It also enabled inclusive growth by funding ₹4.5 lakh for 16 underprivileged students, sponsoring 25 nursing students with ₹95 lakh, and skilling 1,000+ women, achieving a remarkable 95% placement rate.

Healthcare & Infrastructure:
Key outcomes included 1,84,000 eye screenings, 1,000 HPV vaccinations, 1,000 blood units collected, and 16,000 subsidized dialysis sessions per month. A ₹50 lakh (3-year) program is reducing ocular issues among 10,000 leprosy patients, while 1,500 healthcare workers were trained in TB care across 33 districts.

Environment & Sustainability:
Efforts resulted in 14 million liters of water harvested, rejuvenation of 4 stepwells and 2 lakes, restoration of 120+ acres, plantation of 27,400+ saplings, 98% waste diversion, 9,900 kg plastic recycling, and 75 KWP solar installations.

Impact Week 2026 – Flagship CSR Event

Impact Week, Infosys Hyderabad’s flagship volunteering movement, brought focused community action and strong leadership participation. 600 volunteers contributed 1600+ hours, while 1,500 employees’ children added 3,000+ hours, together benefiting 8,000+ individuals.

Volunteers created STEM kaleidoscopes, assembled hygiene kits, inspired GDA trainees at Seva Bharathi, participated in Seva Manthan, distributed desktops benefiting ~500 students, transformed ZPHS Gudimalkapur, crafted bangles and shoelaces, painted pots, made 1600 greeting cards, and supported Chiguru cultural events.

These initiatives reaffirm Infosys’ commitment to employee-driven, community-led transformation, earning the prestigious HYSEA CSR Award 2025.
