RealPage India has been on an upswing in terms of employee engagement and industry eminence (leadership). To mirror our execution, the current year’s theme is ‘Disrupt’ in which we saw the launch of several game changing internal initiatives which cut across various areas of the operations of the India center. A few of these initiatives have already shown exemplary results as we close the first quarter of the year.
Our flagship initiatives under Disrupt 21 theme, we launched 3 industry disruptive programs, among a few others:
RealPage was recently acquired by Thoma Bravo, a private equity firm which valuated the business at $10.4Billion following which, we embarked on the next phase of growth with 150 open positions in RealPage India.
We continue to engage with employees with our annual internal cricket tournament called RPL which holds a lot of fanfare among our employees. Another great engagement experience was the recently held session with Vamini Sethi, a senior professional in a Multinational firm. She is a passionate mountaineer, certified Skier and an avid mountain biker. Many women employees regard this as an inspirational session.
RealPage has set out with initiatives where India will be driving global initiatives and hence getting a voice and not just seat on the table under a novel program called One RealPage.
An initiative called ‘Smoke free RealPage’ where employees quit smoking and successfully raised resources to sponsor 31 girl children. In another initiative, ₹25 Lacs for Hyderabad flood relief was raised by RealPage. Project Putri which works with Tribal girls to support them was launched. Finally, RealPage drove adoption of 5 schools by raising global contributions after seeing a remarkable transformation of 2 schools in the previous years.
Our recently won accolades include Forbes India Best employers in association with Kincentric where RealPage is recognised in the top 15 Best Employers in India. It is a matter of pride and honour for RealPage India to see our leaders speaking about best-in-class employee centric strategy and execution, as was featured in Forbes India. Apart from being certified as a GPTW (Great Place to Work) by GPTW institute we won the Top 10 places to work for health & wellness award given by GPTW as well.
The organization is constantly trying to reinvent operational ideas given the volatile nature of the current, seemingly uncontrollable, macro environment. So far, we have been successful in managing customer expectations while ensuring health and safety of our team members and this is something we’ll continue and try to balance. This is also a forum to celebrate the commitment and dedication of our incredible India team, and here’s hoping that the future can only get better!
