Understanding Employment Laws in the context of Employee Relations’ Scenarios’

Dear Member,

HYSEA is happy to announce the third workshop as part of BizSeries@HYSEA on ‘Understanding Employment Laws in the context of Employee Relations' Scenarios’  on 16th Nov 2018 @ Club Botanika from 2pm to 5.00pm.

Changing paradigms of workforce engagement due to several factors, key among them being rapidly changing tech landscape, has made it imperative for HR Professionals to bridge any gaps in their understanding for the various laws pertaining to our Industry. Some key laws like, The Trade Unions Act, Shops & Establishments Act, The Employees’ Compensation Act, The Employees’ State Insurance Act, The Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, Labour Welfare Enactments for women in the IT & ITES industry: The Maternity Benefit Act, and The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act have an important bearing on the functioning of the IT/ITES Industry.

This workshop will not only focus on the Compliance and Implementation but will also touch upon various scenarios to foster better understanding among the participants.
