3rd Edition of HYSEA JOB FAIR A HUGE SUCCESS

More than 50+ IT/ITES Companies and 1800 Engineering Graduates participated in the JOB FAIR

More than 715+ jobs were on offer at the fair

HYSEA organised the 3rd edition of the JOB FAIR for Engineering graduates (B.Tech/B.E) and MCAs with support from JNTU-H, TiE, T-Hub, TASK and its Talent Partner TechEra Consulting on 7th Feb at JNTU Campus Kukatpally.

The Fair was a huge success as more than 50+ companies, 1800 candidates attended the whole day event. HYSEA Job Fair has become a trusted platform to connect Prospective Employers & Fresh Graduates seeking employment. It also provides IT/ITES companies in Hyderabad qualified, pre-screened, technical manpower at no cost and in a reliable manner. The JOB FAIR is also a unique event for companies to meet and interact with a substantial group of suitable engineering and computer application students to create access to corporate internships, job placement, and career information exchange who have passed out and are in the job market.

The Fair was inaugurated by Prof. A Govardhan, Rector and In-charge Registrar, JNTU-H who encouraged students to make use of the Excellent Opportunity offered by the IT/ITES Industry where more than 50 Large, Medium sized and Start-up companies have come under one roof for the benefit of candidates. He also impressed upon the students to explore working with Start-ups and ultimately become entrepreneurs themselves.

Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department in a message on the occasion congratulated HYSEA for the continuing the efforts to improve employment opportunities for engineering graduates in association with Academic Institutions like JNTU. He urged candidates to leverage the presence of the huge number of companies at the JOB FAIR to get hired.

Addressing the candidates President, HYSEA, Mr. Murali Bollu said, “You are looking at the cream of the available fresh tech talent in Hyderabad today and for the next few months in this auditorium. Out of the 7,600 B.Tech/MCA graduates of 2018 and 2019 registered, 1800 were shortlisted after an online test in Aptitude, English and Programming Skills. And the best part is all of them can join immediately. In addition to the basic IT skills, they also have other skills such as – Java, .Net, Data Science, IoT etc. Some of them have participated in hackathons and attended or attending training at institutes and acquired few additional skills”.

He also advised student that what companies are look for in the candidates are if they are energetic, enthusiastic and eager to learn. While they can always train them for the exact skills, traits like right temperament will be essential to succeed in the IT Industry.

Dr. Ch. Venkata Ramana Reddy – Director – UIIC, JNTUH, Mr. Vinay Agarwal – Vice president- HR, Tech Mahindra and Mr. Kiran Cherukuri, MC Member, HYSEA & CEO – Tech Era Inc, were also present on the occasion.
