Even as Government agencies and business organizations are constantly engaged in combating the growing threat to IT security, they face the challenge of updating hack-preventing tactics, installing several technologies to protect the systems before falling victim to the hacker. New worms, malware, viruses, and ransomware are multiplying every day creating a need for services to safeguard the networks of businesses, government agencies or defence.
Is ‘Ethical Hacking’ the answer? The 16th TechSeries@HYSEA workshop on Ethical Hacking explored how to locate weaknesses and vulnerabilities of computer and information systems by duplicating the intent and actions of malicious hackers. Harikrishna Valugonda, Chief Testing Engineer, EPAM, facilitated this workshop along with his team comprising Mahesh Bheema, Prudhvi Dhanyamraju and Ravali Neelarapu.
More than 50 tech associates from Dev teams, Testing and Devops team participated in the workshop.
