The Disruptive Digital Intervention [DDI] mission is a long-term sustainable initiative of HYSEA to provide a motivating environment to encourage the High School students from Socio-economically marginalized sections of the society become digitally literate by setting up Digital Labs. These labs serve as a secondary source of learning for students, apart from the teachers, while taking them a step closer towards Digital Literacy.
Since its inception, DDI has made significant progress with the efforts of NIRMAAN our Knowledge and Implementation Partner and HYSEA CSR leader Venkat from Synchrony. All the required documentation and process frameworks are in place. Till date the initiative has touched 3254 lives by setting up the digital labs in 10 government schools. This has been possible due to 6 corporate partners who believed in DDI mission.
In order to celebrate the success and also improve the reach of the program a day long DDI event was organized at Synchrony on 12th October 2018. Some highlights from the day included:
Some of the corporates part of the DDI day were HSBC, NTT DATA, S & P GLOBAL, ZENQ, HEXAGON, COLORUYT, INFOSYS, WELLSFARGO, CA TECHNOLOGIES, SYNCHRONY, VALUEMOMENTUM.
