HYSEA Announces 2nd Edition of its prestigious Infrastructure Summit 2021

The theme for this year’s event is ‘A Quest for Legacy – The NextGen Infra’ with focus on Smart Mobility, Energy and Workplace

12th October 2021, Hyderabad: HYSEA announced the 2nd Edition of its prestigious Infrastructure Summit to be held at HICC (Hall-4) on Friday, 22nd Oct 2021, at a curtain raiser event today.
HYSEA Infrastructure Forum organises this annual event which features thought leaders and policy makers who share their expertise about future evolution of smart and sustainable infrastructure, specific to IT/ITES Industry. This year the theme of the event will be ‘A QUEST FOR LEGACY: THE NEXTGEN INFRA’ with focus on Smart Mobility, Energy and Workplace. More than 300+ leaders from IT/ITES Industry, IT Infra Providers, Consultants, Government and R&D institutions are expected to participate in person in the event this year. Mr. Arvind Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, MA&UD & Director General (NIUM), Govt of Telangana, has kindly confirmed to be the Chief Guest.
The summit will feature 20+ Speakers, 3 panels and 5 Keynote addresses and will deliberate on the following key topics:
Addressing the media at the curtain raiser Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department said, “Telangana state has been successful in enabling cost effective IT Infra and it is precisely the reason why several IT giants have chosen Hyderabad for their campuses/offices”. Infrastructure in the state is continuously evolving and govt has not stopped with the ORR, several new initiatives are in the offing, including Regional Ring Road, Metro Phase 2, the GRID policy and many more, he said. He also mentioned that Govt is keen to promote development of social infrastructure in the East, South and North of the city in PPE format, which in turn will promote development of other physical infrastructure in the city.
Mr Arindam Banerrji, EVP and Managing Director, Wells Fargo, India and Philippines also addressed the media at the curtain raiser. Addressing the media he said, “The challenge ahead of us today is to get employees back to work in a safe manner and create a highly engaged workforce which will in turn spawn innovation. As we work towards this, infrastructure will play a critical role not only in our growth, but in retaining our talent base and creating a sustainable world.

Mr. Bharani also shared that HYSEA may potentially be entering into a MOU on Green Power with Department of Energy, TS government at the Infra Summit, thus aligning with the government policy to reduce the carbon footprint and encourage the development of green power (solar) generation in and around the City.
