Having observed the great struggle and shortage for oxygen during the high times of COVID-19 pandemic second wave, Vertafore India Pvt Ltd has made a charitable contribution of 30 medical grade oxygen concentrators to Sparsh Hospice, a Centre for Palliative Care, in Hyderabad, India. They provide care services to terminally ill patients (3,000 so far and still counting) by seeking to ‘alleviate pain without curing’, for whom ‘treatment to cure’ is no longer effective. They offer personal, warm & dignified departure to such patients. Sparsh Hospice is a modern 80-bed environment friendly building. Getting more oxygen concentrators as donation will surely help them to continue providing free services to the patients even after expansion.
As part of its CSR initiative, Vertafore India is supporting the healthcare system by providing the most critical amenity in order to help the community readiness to steer clear of the third wave if any. Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Navneet Jhamb, General Manager of Vertafore in India said, “By helping those who are prescribed supplemental oxygen, we are committed to make a lasting impact in the communities that our employees call home. While we face the pandemic together, we act humbly and practice gratitude by donating these oxygen concentrators to assist our neighbours in need”.
