Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) – A three day workshop was organised by HYSEA CSR Forum Health and Wellness tower for training the trainers on volunteering and other social impact programs around Menstrual Health & Hygiene (MHH) from 8th – 10th Dec 2020.
The first days workshop was facilitated by Ms. Kavita Natarajan, Senior CSR executive at CGI, Hyderabad. She covered extensively on why we need menstrual health and hygiene, what are our roles and responsibilities and how we can make an impact. Her session also covered, Gender equality, puberty, Menstruation, Menstrual cycle and Menstrual Disorders.

The second day’s workshop was facilitated by Ms. Sowmya Bheemavarapu, Edgeverve and covered Hygiene Practices, Disposal Methods, Yoga & Exercise, Food & Nutrition, Home remedies, Safe touch & Unsafe touch.

The third and final day saw inspiring session by renowned social activist, co-founder and managing trustee of Mythri Speaks Trust Ms. Sinu Joseph. She has done extensive action-research in the areas of Menstrual & Reproductive Health.
