Theme/Objective: Workshop on Testing Challenges, Approaches and Best Practices for Software Products
Testing Software products is quite different from testing single client-use custom business applications. Products are by nature meant for use by a wide variety of end clients. Products will in general be generic and different clients may use the same product in different ways. Emphasising different parts of the products. As software testing must simulate end use scenarios, the rather unpredictable specific usage models pose a serious challenge in effectively testing the products. Added to this is the evolutionary nature of the products, and the demands from releasing multiple versions, service packs and patches. Products companies often evolve test practices, approaches and automation that suit their business and software lifecycle needs. In this workshop, QA architects and Directors from product development organizations in Hyderabad will share their experiences and best practices.
