Industry Body HYSEA and IIIT Hyderabad Sign MOU to
Launch a Collaborative TechSeries for the IT/ITES Industry

“TechSeries @ Hysea” in Collaboration with IIIT, Hyderabad will help in Reskilling and Upskilling of the IT workforce in cutting edge emerging Technologies

27th Oct 2017, Hyderabad: HYSEA, Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association and International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH), today signed an MOU to further the cause of Technology and enhance the Industry Academia Collaboration. As part of this effort HYSEA plans to conduct seminars / workshops on emerging technologies towards helping the engineers and mid-level managers in the industry stay abreast with technology and relevant research in collaboration with IIIT, Hyderabad. These seminars / workshops will be conducted under the title “TechSeries @ HYSEA”.

As technologies like AI and Machine Learning become more main stream and the gap between Research and Industry reduces, it is important that both Industry and Academia collaborate in meaningful ways.

 

Prof P. J. Narayanan, Director of the International Institute of Information Technology – Hyderabad and Ranga Pothula, President – HYSEA and Vice President and Centre Head, Infor Global Solutions India, speaking on the occasion expressed their happiness on this collaboration and felt that it would help in reshaping the IT workforce for future.

 

Elaborating further, the Chief Operating Officer of HYSEA, R. Srinivas Rao, and Ramesh Loganathan, Professor- Co-Innovation, & Head – Innovation/Research Outreach, IIIT-H, said,” Some of the emerging technologies proposed to be covered as part of the TechSeries include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Advanced Analytics and Data Sciences”.  The series he said will be typically half day; hands on seminars with talks from Academic Researchers, technology thought leaders from the Industry and Start-ups covering Technology and its adoption.
