A delegation of HYSEA along with a high level delegation of Government of Andhra Pradesh participated in the GITEX Dubai Technology week starting 8th Sept to 12th Sept at Dubai International Convention Centre and Exhibition centre.

GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK builds upon the global interest in the Middle East’s ICT landscape by presenting a power-packed week of dedicated trade events, which includes GITEX Business Solutions, GULFCOMMS and Consumer Electronics. Focusing on the region’s fastest growing sectors – IT business solutions, telecommunications and consumer electronics – these three distinct, yet closely related events deliver focused forums for key buyers and decision-makers from across the region.

Brig. (Retd) K. Harikumar, Executive Director, HYSEA and L. Suresh, Secretary, HYSEA attended the Gitex Dubai 2007. The visit was useful brand building for HYSEA and Government of AP. HYSEA stall at GITEX Dubai 2007 was inaugurated by IT&C Minister Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Minister also formally released the HYSEA Directory 2007. IT&C Secretary to Govt of AP, Shri. S.K.Joshi and Special Secretary IT&C to Govt of AP, Shri. Gopi Krishna were also present on the occasion. HYSEA stall was visited by over 250 visitors and over a dozen prospective business enquires were made to do business with HYSEA members.

Brig. (Retd) Harikumar visited RAK Free Trade Zone Authority in RAK accompanied by a high level Ministerial Delegation led by Mr. Damodar Reddy. RAK delegation is set to visit Hyderabad soon.

HYSEA was also invited by Syrian Software Forum to participate in Syrian IT Exhibition in November 2007 in Damascus
