Robert J. Bongiorno

Bob is a creative leader who has introduced many technical and process innovations in order to meet complex business requirements. He has experience with a wide variety of computing environments including Internet, Client Server, UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, Parallel Processing, and Data Warehousing.

Bob joined ADP in September 2002 and is responsible for the development of all Payroll, HR, Benefits and Time & Labor Management products for the $5B ADP Employer Services Division. He leads a department of 1200+ IT associates with an annual budget of $125M. At ADP he has significantly improved the reliability of ADP’s Internet product suite reducing downtime 92% over a two year period. He has also introduced the use of a Service Orientated Architecture to enable integration across the many disparate Human Resource applications that are sold by ADP.

Prior to that Bob spent twelve years at United Airlines where he worked with business units to develop an overall strategy and project plan on how new technologies should be used in the future airport environment. While at United he pioneered the use of Parallel Processing technology in areas of yield management and crew scheduling.

Bob holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and System Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

 
Prashant Gandhi

Prashant Gandhi is a Partner in the Delhi Office of McKinsey & Company, Inc. Prashant joined McKinsey’s North America Office in 2000 and served several high-tech, telecom and private equity clients in North America. He moved to India in early 2004 and has since been an active member of McKinsey’s Technology and Telecom Practice. He leads the High-Tech Marketing and Sales Practice in India.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Prashant worked as a Chemical Engineer for an engineering consulting firm in Kansas City (1994-98). He also spent the summer of 1999 working as a Product Manager at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington. Prashant received a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (1992) and MBA from University of Chicago (2000).

 
Sreenivas Parasa

Graduate in Electronics and Communication engineering from REC Warangal ( Presently NIT). Worked in North America, europe,middle east in various capacities and core industries.

His interest in automatic identification technologies arose from the observations, made by him on flawless Bombay Dabbawallah's lunch box supply system, while living in Bombay as a young engineer way back in 1978. He is a keen observer of nature's coding to separately identify living beings.

He has extensive experience in automatic identification technologies, developing technical architecture, requirement analysis, system integration, project planning. Worked in the core sectors of industry and telecommunication, manufacturing, research, health care, retail and govt administration in particular.

He played a key role in technology transfer negotiations, memorandum of understandings with manufacturers of telecom switches, printheads, micromotors, diodes and surveying equipment. Involved in technical and commercial negotiations at various stages of the contracts.

He has implemented large projects using magnetic, chip card technologies, electronic merchant/authentication transactions. Implemented hardware and software for secure authentication, personalization of photo credit card for various banks and investment broker companies.

Presently heading RFID business as Vice President with Bartronics India Limited and providing solutions to all industries and in particular pharma/ healthcare/retail industries for supply chain management, logistics and anti-counterfeiting applications.

 
Anuraag Agrawal,
Architect/Engineering Manager at Motorola Software Group, India

Anuraag Agrawal is working as an architect/Engineering Manager at Motorola Software Group, India,. He has over 13 years of experience in the software industry, working on product development and most recent 9 years specializing in wireless data, applications and user experience on mobile devices. Anuraag is currently leading a development team focusing on next generation experience on Motorola products. Anuraag has submitted few patent disclosures that are pursued and are pending in the USPTO and is author of several white papers on wireless data and applications.

 
Mr. J Satyanarayana,
CEO, NISG, Hyderabad, India

Mr. J. Satyanarayana, a Senior Officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1977 batch, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), Hyderabad. He is responsible for shaping the Institute as a Centre of Excellence in e-Governance, especially in the areas of Strategic Planning and Project Development and Capacity Building for e-governance.

Earlier, he was Special Secretary to Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (AP) in the Finance Department, Commissioner of Registration and Stamps, and Principal Secretary to the AP Government in the Information Technology and Communication Technology Department. He pioneered the implementation of popular projects like eSeva, CARD, e-procurement, and APOnline.

As Chief Executive Officer of NISG, Mr. Satyanarayana has been associated with developing e-Government projects like MCA21, BangaloreOne, e-Procurement for the States of Karnataka and Chattisgarh, Goa Broadband Network, GoaOnline Portal, and Integrated Land Information System in Andhra Pradesh. He is also closely associated with the Strategic Planning for e-Governance at the national and state levels.

Mr. Satyanarayana, has also authored a book titled, “e-Governance, the science of the possible”, published by Prentice-Hall of India, New Delhi, India.
