Siddhartha Chatterjee As Chief Technology Officer at Persistent Systems, Dr. Siddhartha Chatterjee (Sid) is responsible for technology leadership both externally and internally. Prior to this, Sid was with IBM for 13 years in various technical, strategic, managerial, and executive positions across IBM Research, IBM Systems & Technology Group, and IBM Global Technology Services. Sidholds a B.Tech. (Honors) degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications from IIT, Kharagpur and a Ph.D. in Computer science from Carnegie Mellon University. Sid has been a visting scientist at the Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science (RIACS) in Moffett Field, CA, an assistant and associate professor at the University of North Carolina, and an adjunct faculty member at the University of California, Duke University, and the University of Texas. He is an ACM Distinguished Member, an IEEE Senior Member, and a Sigma Xi member.
