Leadership through Self-Talk
Synopsis
Leadership is often understood as leading others. Seldom one realizes that leading oneself is the beginning of leadership. An effective leader is the one that leads the life that he/she desires to the way he/she wants to and achieves goals that he/she sets from time to time. Charity indeed begins at home. By doing so, a leader sets an example naturally. The team observes each behaviour of the leader and picks up tips to follow.
Leading self involves continuous self-talk that helps refine the programming that forms the basis of behaviour. Self-talk happens naturally for each human being. It is our prerogative to choose what we speak to self. Choosing the most appropriate self-talk is the key to successful living; and hence to successful leadership.
We are attempting to throw light into how self-talk determines our decisions and manifestations throughout our life. We attempt to equip the participants understand the different levels of self-talk that progressively leads one to not only meet their desires, but also what and how to desire that is best for oneself.
